Research on Child Soldiers Relates To Math

For the research project, I am doing Child Soldiers in Africa. One way it relates to math is that you could add together the numbers of child soldiers from each African country to see the amount of child soldiers there are just in Africa. Another way that child soldiers is related to math is that many child soldiers carry around guns and all those guns can be added up to see how many child soldiers have guns. Also, there is more than 300,000 child soldiers in the world today. This is related to math because numbers are part of math. Math and child soldiers are even related because people can add the numbers of children that try to run away from being a soldier in all the countries that have child soldiers to see how many children who are soldiers even try to attempt to run away.

Eragon

Right now in school I am reading Eragon. The book Eragon connects to science because Eragon is a human like creature from another world and if he really was real it would take technology (a form of science) for him to get here and to understand his poor speaking.

Watching T.V. is Fun

Watching T.V. is fun. My favorite show is The Suite Life on Deck on Disney Channel. There are a few ways that Suite Life on Deck is related to science. One way it relates to science is that it is something kids can watch on t.v. which is technology and in sceince theycan come up with new Technology.

There are multiple "haunted" places in the country. Well, the article really talks about the top ten most "haunted" places in the country. A few of the names of the most "haunted" places in the country that you might have heard of are: The Winchester Mystery House, the famouse prison on an island near San Francisco: Alcatraz, and even the White House! Just because places people beleive places are haunted by claiming they've seen ghosts doesn't mean it is not safe to go there. For example, people like the President and his family still live at the White House, and people still tour the Winchester Mystery House. In conclusion, there are multiple places in the coutry that people believe are haunted.

"5 Reasons to Fear Robots" by Jeremy Hsu

Who: Robots created to do human work. When we create robots we are making something else besides humans do work for us. Some every day robots are not often called robots. This includes dish washers, washing machines, and dryers. There are real robots that can be programed so that today it washes dishes and tomorrow it washes clothes.

What: Robots are already taking over part of the human race. But they will not take over the human race
entirely any time in the near future. One of the big robot manufacturing companies right now is IRobot. There are lots of other robot companies. U.S.A. has robot army soldiers to fight instead of them at some places in the world.

When: From now into the near future robots will still be doing things for humans so that we do not have to do as much work by robots doing work for we can do other things like read a book or play outside.

Why: The robots are partly taking over use because we have very high technology of having things do work for use. Before all the robots people used to hand wash dishes and clothes.they then placed clothes on clothe lines to dry. That toke much longer than when we now dry clothes in a dryer.

Opinion: we should cut down on the amount of robots we make.
